Meet the Captains

Captain Richard "Dick" Burhoe        

Captain Dick, like most locals, grew up and learned to fish at an early age, starting as a charter mate aboard the Dixie, Captained by the late Bobby Woods, fishing for Bluefin tuna. As he grew he worked on offshore fishing trawlers and scallopers always learning about the ocean and what she had to offer. Now late in life Captain Dick has evolved into a charter captain which allows him to share what he has learned with his daily customers. Captain Dick is a local of Provincetown and has been fishing the waters of the North Atlantic since the age of 12. Come fishing with Captain Dick and be regaled about the good old days while making some special memories of your own for years to come.
 

Captain Jared Burhoe

Captain Jared, like his father, started mating at the age of 12 aboard a local party fishing boat, setting out for larger species whenever the chance arose. Becoming a captain at 19, Captain Jared began to operate his own charter boat, run local party fishing boats and whale watch boats, as well as fish for  commercially for Giant Bluefin Tuna in the slower parts of the season. At 30 years old, Captain Jared has 18 years of fishing experience and has fished along the entire eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida. With a young family, Captain Jared has been less available to charter recently than he would like.  Although he still finds time to run a majority of the early and late season  charters,while helping out as                                                                                                  needed during the busier summer                                                                                          months.

Captain Jared was contracted to run another boat during the  "2008 Oaks Bluff Monster Shark Tournament". His boat finished 2nd overall with a 379 lbs. Thresher shark while releasing over 50 sharks in the 2 day tournament.
